Three Steps to a Plan That Actually Fits

3. ongoing coaching

This is where the real work happens. Christine helps you put the plan into practice, troubleshoot what isn't working, and adapt as your life and goals shift. Most clients meet weekly or biweekly to keep momentum going. Progress over perfection.

2. your wellness game plan

Between sessions, Christine builds a personalized wellness game plan based on what you shared. Clear, specific, and tailored to how you actually live. This becomes the foundation for the coaching sessions that follow.

1. intro Consult

We get to know each other. You share your full health history, current habits, supplements, recent bloodwork (if you have it), and what you want to feel. Christine listens, asks questions, and gathers everything she needs to start building your plan.

Most nutrition coaches don't understand how you move. Most movement teachers don't understand how you eat. Christine works in both. That means your nutrition plan accounts for how your body actually performs and recovers, whether you're in the studio twice a week or chasing kids around all day. And if you're already a Pilates client, the two practices reinforce each other in ways most people never get to experience.

You don't need to be a Pilates client to work with Christine on nutrition. But if you are, she'll be looking at the whole picture.

Your plan accounts for how your body actually moves.

By committing to the Wellness Foundations Package, the introductory consult is included at no additional cost, allowing you to start your coaching journey with intention and continuity.

Christine Longcore is the founder of Long Core Pilates and a Kane School and PMA certified instructor with nearly two decades of experience in the wellness world.

Her latest chapter brings clinical depth to her movement expertise. She recently completed two Harvard Medical School executive programs: *Health and Wellness: Designing a Sustainable Nutrition Plan* and *Lifestyle and Wellness Coaching*, plus additional modules in advanced nutrition planning and behavior change.

After years of watching clients feel better in their bodies through Pilates, Christine wanted to go deeper. Nutrition coaching is the natural extension of that work: helping people understand not just how they move, but how they fuel, recover, and live.

If you've trained with her in the studio, you know how she works. Thoughtful, focused, never rushed. The same applies to her nutrition coaching.

Coaching That Goes Deeper Than a Meal Plan.

Read Christine's full bio

"I'd been telling myself the 3pm crash was just my life. Three kids, a full-time job, no time to eat real food. I'd tried elimination diets, intermittent fasting, the whole carousel. Two months in with Christine and I don't crash anymore. I haven't reached for an afternoon coffee in weeks, and I'm actually sleeping through the night for the first time since my oldest was born. The wild part is that she didn't take anything away. She helped me build a few habits I could actually keep, and the energy followed."

"I came to Christine after probably ten years of diets. Whole30, keto, intermittent fasting, the works. I'd always lose weight and then gain it back plus some. The first thing she said in our intro was that we weren't going to do any of that. Then the plan she built was around how I actually eat, what my schedule looks like, the foods my family makes for Sunday dinner. I've held the same weight for six months for the first time in my adult life, and I'm not forcing anything. The plan is just how I live now."

"I've been a Pilates client of Christine's for almost 4 years. When she mentioned she was now doing nutrition coaching I signed up because I trust her with my body. What I didn't expect was how connected the two practices would be. She'd look at how I was performing in class and ask if I'd slept, when I'd last eaten, what was happening at home. My recovery between sessions is night-and-day different now. I feel stronger at 47 than I did at 37, and I credit a lot of that to having someone who looks at the whole picture."

FAQS

Both. Christine sees clients in person at the Long Core Pilates studio in Staten Island, and offers virtual sessions for anyone who prefers to meet from home. You can choose what works best when you book.

 Is this in-person or virtual?

Christine is a certified wellness and nutrition coach with Harvard Medical School training, not a registered dietitian (RD). She doesn't diagnose, prescribe, or treat medical conditions. Her work is about sustainable lifestyle and nutrition habits that support how you feel and function day to day. If you have a medical condition that needs specialized care, she'll happily refer you.

What's the difference between this and seeing a registered dietitian?

Not in the rigid, "eat this exact thing on Tuesday" sense. Christine builds personalized nutrition guidance around your real life, including food preferences, schedule, and goals. You'll leave with clear, specific direction, not a printout you'll never follow.

Do you create meal plans?

Most clients book coaching sessions weekly or every other week, depending on what you need. Consistency is what makes the plan stick. Christine will recommend a cadence in your intro consult and adjust as you go. There's no required package or commitment beyond the sessions you book.

How often do you meet after the intro consult?

Most clients notice shifts in energy and sleep within the first few weeks of applying their plan. Deeper changes (body composition, recovery, bloodwork) take longer. Christine focuses on sustainable change, not 30-day transformations.
